The following physician compensation data was compiled from January 1, 2021 – December 31, 2021. This was a nationwide survey with a broad geographic distribution of physicians representing each region of the United States. The vast majority of physicians surveyed had between 1 and 10 years of practice experience. Compensation figures do not take into consideration physician benefits (such as 401(k) contributions), signing bonus, student loan repayment, etc. The amount does include salary, and/or bonus/performance incentives paid during calendar year 2021. Figures have been rounded to nearest thousandth. For more details on the survey, please call 1-800-576-9629.
